Power that allows us to seek revenge for our own traumas and feelings of worthlessness. This variation on Shakespeare’s Macbeth takes place in a time resembling past, present, and future. It bears the question whether we are returning to old models when “men were men”, “women were women”, and anyone who wanted power and money had to spill blood, or whether we are gazing into a future where sophistication, propriety, and empathy have once again yielded to our basest instincts.

The world of this Macbeth speaks through a universal language that has no place for refinement or philosophical thought. A language that has a very simple and straightforward understanding of reality. This world only needs one language and several words to make sense.
