Jiří Černý
Member of Divadlo Na zábradlí ensemble since 2016.
He was born in Prague and studied music and drama at the Prague Conservatory. In 2001 he entered his first home stage at Činoherní studio in Ústí nad Labem. Throughout his career, he has also performed at the New Stage of the National Theatre in Prague, at Činoherní klub, at the Ponec Theatre, at the Summer Shakespeare Festival, at Meet Factory, NoD, Deutches Theater Berlin, Theatre Bremen, etc. Currently, in addition to Divadlo Na zábradlí, he performs at Studio Hrdinů, Jedl Theatre Company and Činoherní studio in Ústí nad Labem. He also appears on the film screen and on television. He is the runner-up of the 2004 national round of the Slam Poetry Competition.
